Carole Topalian co-founded Edible Communities in 2004 with her partner, Tracey Ryder, after two years of publishing Edible Ojai, the first-ever Edible magazine. Topalian’s 40-year photography career has taken her throughout the world as well as to every corner of North America’s farms, ranches, rivers and oceans. Her work has been widely published in the Edible magazines, cookbooks and countless other publications.
