Ingredients
- 2 cups pitted red cherries
- ½ cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1½ teaspoons cornstarch dissolved in 3 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Cook cherries, sugar and salt for 10 minutes until starting to thicken. Add cornstarch slurry and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, add vanilla extract. Place in refrigerator to chill slightly.
