Winter Green Smoothie

A healthy green smoothie for the whole family to power up our bodies with vitamins, antioxidants, fiber and calcium.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: Yield: 4 servings
  • 2 cups stemmed and chopped kale
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • ½ avocado (optional to make it creamier and more filling)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple, chopped (no need to peel)
  • 1 cup orange juice, preferably fresh squeezed
  • 1 cup fruit-flavored kefir or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup ice

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
